I'm going to Denver for the first time in a few weeks. I'll be travelling lite with a backpack and smaller "purse" size bag. Is there a locker in downtown area where I can store the knapsack for a few hours while I walk around downtown. I know some cities have lockers at the greyhound or union station but I can't find that information anywhere on the web.

If you’re only going to work out with us occasionally, purchase a virtual punch card. It’s good for six months from the purchase date and provides membership level access to facilities on a visit by visit basis.  Virtual punch cards are only redeemable by the individual who purchases the punch card; punch cards cannot be transferred/used by other guests, family members, or other members. Punch cards are not transferable, replaceable, renewable, or refundable.

Material: steel is the traditional material; but wood, plastic, or laminate are sometimes used. Plastic or laminate lockers are sometimes advocated in environments, such as near swimming pools, where moisture accumulation may cause steel lockers to rust over time. They can also be used in external applications where internal space is not available.
Wilderness Exchange is within walking distance of Union and they require you leave a bag with them when you go into the store, they may be willing to stash your bag for a few hours. No guarantee on that, but an option if you can't find anything else. They are only open 10am-6pm on Sundays, so you may have to wait around a bit or pick it up early depending on when you get there and will be leaving.

The storage lockers were a “pilot,” the kind of small test that city government frequently uses to test a new or controversial idea. The city offered up the lockers for individuals to use for months-long stretches. At the time, city officials warned that “misuse of the lockers, vandalism, or other unanticipated results,” could force them to cancel the project.
